OBJECTIVES: To evaluate the effectiveness of mHealth (mobile health) support intervention, compared to “standard care” (without the mHealth intervention), upon treatment success (comprising treatment completion and/or bacteriological cure), among patients with multi-drug-resistant tuberculosis treated in the PMDT program.
